How to Iron Leather

Need to get wrinkles out of leather?

Here's a video tutorial on how I get the wrinkles out of lambskin. We use this same method for cowhide leather as well.

If you have any other tips for getting the wrinkles out of leather please leave them in the comments.

Thanks for the informative video! I was nervous about ironing leather too, and used paper and a really low setting, which did not work very well. But now I know how to do it right! Thanks. :)

Great video! But I was wondering if I could iron a synthetic PU leather bag? I bought it online and when I got it, it turns out to be really creased & wrinkled I'm not sure how I should go about fixing that... help will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Karleigh Jae,

Thanks for posting this video, I just got my first batch of lambskin in the mail and I was like "holy wrinkles!" But then I remembered seeing something about ironing leather on your blog.

Have a good holiday!

Oh, most satisfactory! I have about eight deer skins I want to make a safari shirt out of and this will be very useful. Good job, that woman.
