New Steampunk Journals

We had a request for a couple of large 9 x 12 steampunk books and decided to do about 10 small books to give the client a few options of different antiques and styles. These are the first three of the ten books which are available in our  Etsy Shop.

These look great, Karleigh! What do you call the type of binding on the first one?

These are just awesome! I'm sure they'll fly out the door in no time. I love the diversity of your beautiful books.

Thanks for the put-a-smile-on-my-face comments everyone.

Jenny- The binding on the first book is a Tapes Bound Binding. It's typically used on hardcover books with spines and you don't usually see the exposed spine. I thought it worked nicely with this style of book though. :)

Louise- Thanks. Do you still see my style in it or is it totally different?

these books are awesome, Karleigh! And, I can totally see "you" in them!
Hey, I see you are coming to SF and LA next year. Can you tell me what venue you will be teaching in/at? I would love to see if I could attend.
Thanks in advance!

Sarah

Hi Sarah, so sorry for such a late response. SF is on hold for now, but we have a week of LA workshops May 7-12, in downtown LA. We've rented a loft to hold the classes in, details found here:

Thanks, and hope we can see you there!
